SHELBY & GRIER | DECATUR IL ENGAGEMENTS

This session was a super fun one for me because Shelby is one of my own - meaning she is one of my employees at my other job working at the pediatrics office! Needless to say I was super stoked when she asked me to be her wedding photographer!!

I met up with Shelby and her sweet little family over in Monticello, IL at Allerton Park & Retreat Center. Shelby said she wanted to have more of a rustic feel to her pictures and also have a taste of fall, and I knew Allerton could deliver just that! It was blustery and chilly that day, but we totally rocked it out. Both Grier & Shelby wanted to include their two boys in the first half of their session because they are a huge part of their lives - and I was totally on board with it of course! And they are ADORABLE - you’ll see! Once it was just the two of them, it was so much fun to get them to interact with each other and just enjoy being an engaged couple!
