THE CORMANS | DECATUR IL WEDDINGS

What started out as a stressful day turned out to be absolutely perfect and beautiful. <3

Zach & Chloe were to be married at her dream venue of Allerton Park & Retreat Center in the Sunken Gardens before Mother Nature had her own plans! It rained, poured and blew all day and into the night even and it was so bad that there was not way an outdoor wedding was possible. Thankfully, the reception venue was able to accommodate the wedding ceremony also and it was just a matter of contacting everyone and getting them to the right place for a venue switch!

We spent the entire day at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel in Decatur, IL where we managed to pull together a pretty incredible wedding day for these two love birds. With the sudden change in plans it was a little rough to start trying to make sure everything was at the conference center that needed to be, but with everyone… literally everyone… chipping in to make sure decorations were placed, kids were taken care of, items at home were retrieved and brought… it all worked out exactly how it was supposed to.

We did not step out but for maybe 5 minutes to try and get some pictures, but it was so cold and windy that we headed right back in. I was able to basically use the first floor of the hotel at my disposal in order to make sure we got all of the pictures we needed to get done! Overall the day was fantastic and I can’t wait to show you some of my favorites from the day!
