THE BURGESS' | CHAMPAIGN IL WEDDINGS

If you’ve never met Shelly & Jason before, you are severely missing out. These two are not only perfect for each other, but they are truly two of the sweetest, kindest, biggest-hearted people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. And spending the day with them at their wedding was such an honor.

I met Shelly for the first time here in Decatur at a restaurant. We talked for several hours about the wedding plans, how she found me (shout to TheKnot.com), and a lot about her job. It was kind of like we were just a couple of good friends meeting up to chat and have dinner. So much fun. Needless to say, I knew we were going to be a good fit and I was so very right!

The day of the wedding seemed to go by so quickly and nearly flawlessly. The wedding & reception took place at the iHotel in Champaign, IL and they got everything taken care of so promptly and well. Not to mention the space itself is beautiful for weddings and events in general. Oh and the food at the reception was PERFECTO!

We had a ton of fun, a lot of laughs, and of course I cried a few times because I am that person who cries at all the weddings (haha), but overall it was just a beautiful event watching two families come together and become one.
