THE GILBERTS | DECATUR IL WEDDINGS

My last wedding of the year was absolutely perfect - even though it downpoured! :) Natalie & Ryan had the BEST day surrounded by family and friends who love them so, so much!

I met up with Natalie at Moundford Free Methodist Church in Decatur, IL, where she was hanging out with her wedding crew getting ready for the day! They had the most relaxing music playing, and everyone was SO smiley! The sanctuary was all ready to go, with the aisle runner tacked down neatly and so clean, the flower displays near the front and on the piano, and of course the not-so-traditional (but new trend that I LOVE!!!) board with rope to braid together as a symbol of their love. After the ceremony, we headed over to the Grand Palace in Decatur where we did some more bridal party photos (the sun came out and it was pretty!), wrapped up with some portraits and then got on with the reception! I got choked up a few times, namely when the Natalie sang to Ryan <3 it was SO sweet!

I was so honored to capture their big day - and now I can’t wait to share some of my favorites with you!
